Transitional Employment

Transitional Employment (TE) is a highly structured program for members returning to work. TE positions belong to the Clubhouse and interested members are placed in those positions as they become available. TE placements are at the employer’s place of business, part-time (15-20 hours per week), time limited (6-9 months), and include on-the-job and off-site support from Clubhouse staff. TE is specifically designed to support members with gaining or re-gaining the skills and confidence necessary to have a job while he or she is employed in a “real world” position. Absence coverage is a key feature of the model.
